GDR East German Medal faithful services -Silver

The Silver Medal for Loyal Service in the Workers' Class Combat Groups was the second stage of this distinction.

Key features (Silver):

• Award: This was awarded for 15 years of loyal service in the Combat Groups.

Design:

• Material: Silver-plated bronze or white metal (silver-colored).
• Obverse: The characteristic soldier holding a rifle, with the text "Für treue Dienste".
• Reverse: The coat of arms of the GDR.
• Ribbon: For the silver grade, the red pentagonal ribbon features two silver-gray vertical center stripes (each approx. 2.5 mm wide).
