The Medal for Merit to the Bulgarian People's Army (Bulgarian: Медал „За заслуги към Българската народна армия“) was a military award of the People's Republic of Bulgaria (1946–1990). It was awarded to military personnel within the Ministry of Defense for significant contributions to national security.

- Target group: Members of the Bulgarian People's Army who demonstrated exceptional patriotism or dedication to the Ministry of Defense.
Design
- Obverse: Features the inscription "For Merit to the People's Army" (ЗА ЗАСЛУГА КЪМ НАРОДНАТА АРМИЯ).
- Material: Often made of gilded bronze with details in red and white enamel.
- Worship: Attached to a pentagonal ribbon (suspension), characteristic of Bulgarian decorations from the socialist era.

Distinction from older medals
This medal should not be confused with the General Medal of Merit of the Kingdom of Bulgaria (1881). Whereas the royal version displayed the portrait of the monarch (such as Ferdinand I or Boris III), the People's Army version used socialist symbols and texts aimed at the army.
