Dutch Sports Badge M.L.V.

MLV stands for Military Physical Skills.
Those skills consisted of:
- 5 km walk within 24 minutes
- 1000 meter run with overall and high shoes
- long jump
- 7 meter rope climbing
- 100 meters within 16 seconds.

There was also a swimming test in overalls / high shoes and a dummy gun. If you got it, you would also receive this pin with the monogram in blue (the 'blue MLV' or 'MLV-blue'). The pin was issued until recently and many soldiers still wear it on their DT (service dress) . On the left breast pocket.
