The kepi of the French Sapeurs-Pompiers is worn with the service dress and during ceremonies.
- Colors: Solid dark blue (almost black).
- Insignia: A red or silver flaming grenade on the front.
Piping & Ranks:
- Soldiers (Sapeur/Caporal): Red piping and a black chinstrap.
- Officers: Silver braid and a silver chinstrap.
