In the Belgian army, the FN/FALO Rifle Belt (often called a "BAR-belt" or "Mag Belt") is a specific piece of webbing designed to carry magazines for the FN FAL and its heavy-duty variant, the FALO (Fusil Automatique Lourd).

• Capacity: Equipped with four large double pouches, allowing for a total of eight standard 20-round magazines (two per pouch).

Design & Material:

• Made of sturdy OD green or mustard-colored canvas (cotton webbing).
• Features a fixed shoulder harness to distribute the weight of the heavy 7.62mm ammunition.
• Equipped with metal snaps (often marked "FIX") and eyelets at the bottom for attaching additional equipment such as a bayonet or canteen.
