The Bronze Medal for Loyal Service in the Workers' Class Combat Groups (DMR) was a state decoration of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The medal was instituted on October 6, 1965.
Key features (Bronze):
- Award: For 10 years of loyal service and fulfillment of duty within the Workers' Class Combat Groups (the paramilitary organization of the GDR).
Design:
- Obverse : An image of a soldier holding a rifle in his right hand. Surrounding it is the text "Für treue Dienste" and two laurel branches.
- Reverse : The coat of arms of the GDR (hammer and compass in a wreath of grain).
- Worship: The medal is round (approx. 32 mm) and is worn on a red pentagonal ribbon on the left breast. Ribbon: The red ribbon for the bronze grade has one silver-grey vertical center stripe 2.5 mm wide.
