Anti-Dim Cloth

The Dutch brillenzalf for the gas mask Model K (also known as oogglaszalf) is a military surplus product from the Cold War era. The ointment was intended to be applied to the inside of the glass lenses to prevent them from fogging up while breathing.

• Purpose: Preventing condensation (fogging) on the round glass lenses of the facepiece.
• Packaging: A small metal tin containing the ointment and often a small cleaning cloth.
