Belgian Side Cap
On the traditional Belgian quarter cap (the "schuitje"), the color of the piping often indicated the coat of arms or unit. White piping (also called piping) was historically worn by:
- The Infantry: In certain periods, white was used for specific infantry units or regiments.
- PCP Seymour: A Belgian uniform manufacturer. Quarter caps labeled "Seymour" are usually post-war.
