Grimes / Soderberg C-4A Cockpit lighting
The Grimes / Soderberg C-4A is a standard cockpit light for map reading and secondary cockpit illumination. The lamp features a dimmable rheostat (BRIGHT, RED, and OFF), a colored filter (often red), and an extension cord for portability within the cockpit. This type of lamp was frequently used in World War II aircraft.
