Wehrmacht Rundfunkhörer Modell 2

"Rfh 2" stands for Rundfunkhörer Modell 2, a type of high-impedance headset (usually 2000 Ohm) originally produced by Siemens & Halske starting in the 1930s.

Although primarily designed for civilian radio and crystal receivers (detektorempfänger), large quantities were supplied to the Wehrmacht and used by military personnel at communication and listening posts. Just like the standard Doppelfernhörer, they feature Bakelite earcups and a metal headband.
