€ 25,00
The beret for the Cavalleria Lancieri (Lancers) within the Italian Army shares the black base of the cavalry, but is distinguished by a unique emblem and the traditions of its specific regiments.
Characteristics of the Beret
- Color: Like the Dragoni, the Lancieri wear the black beret (basco nero), the standard insignia of armored and cavalry units.
- Model: The "Canadian" model is often used, characterized by a high grosgrain border and an internal reinforcement on the left side for attaching the emblem.
The Fregio (Emblem) of the Lancieri
The emblem of the Lancieri was specifically designed to reflect the historical role of these lancers:
- Design: The fregio consists of two crossed lances, surmounted by a grenade with a flame pointing vertically upward.
- Numeral: The circle on the grenade displays the regimental number.
- Design: In active service, the badge is silver-colored metal.
Active Lancieri Regiments.
